8:00-9:00 am- Hot breakfast 9:00-10:30 am- CLE (1.5 CLE credits being applied for): Media Speak Presentation by Roshini Rajkumar, '97, of Roshini Multimedia will train you to authoritatively work with the media to create positive exposure for your business or organization. 10:30-12:00pm-CLE (1.5 ethics and professional responsibility credits being applied for): Citizen Lawyer will examine the civic role of lawyers, the legal profession, and our system of legal education. This CLE is co-sponsored by the MSBA Civic Education Committee. Panelists are lawyers and alumni with long records of civic engagement and public service, who will share their experiences as an active civic leader and why they have such a strong commitment to service. Participants will be invited to consider how they balance civic engagement with their practice, what they think the civic role of lawyers, the legal profession, and legal education should be, and other related thoughts and advice.
